Art Therapy Association was founded in 2008 by a meeting creative minds addressed to use the spare capacity of people afflicted with locomotor disability in particular. Capacity addressed a communication from the collective, they are representatives of a message of life and belonging.
difficult task in our social context where the figure of a disability is often limited within a welfare system. Very rarely tries to bring out the capabilities of the individual which often lie unused in the minds and bodies that are struggling to gain credibility and its space of belonging to the constructive and productive system of society.
The association is focused towards the use artistic skills of people with disability, and collaboration with non-disabled artists and supporters, with the common purpose of putting in place a strong artistic events socio-cultural impact, but not all.
The activities of the association is particularly directed towards preventing road and a message is a message until today largely incorporated in the many representations of the play: When the wheel turns against the wind, written by Carlo Mariano Sartoris, president of ' Association itself, is played by a talented group of artists well-directed as a director, the choreography of the dancing figures and music that make a message of life, light fun and suggestive.
The activities of the Association of Art Therapy is continually developing, are open to all the creativity and sense of belonging that lies untapped in not only the disabled but also people who, for reasons relating to ' course of a life they never had the opportunity to express their art and live on the fringes of their own creativity.
The association is moving into the territories of the province of Cuneo, Asti and Turin.
The seat is in the town of Alba, the birthplace of Nutella, the nose and the wonderful wines of the Langhe, from Barolo to Barbaresco, Barbera and Nebbiolo and Roero.
